Understanding Trinity Hot Yoga Classes:
Body Strengthening, Cleansing and Removal of Toxins
Hot Yoga strengthens and deeply cleanses your body by adding intensity to the workout that you would normally get in a moderate temperature room. This intensity will raise the level of purification exponentially. Additionally, your body will work harder in a heated room, thus removing far more toxins from the system.

If you slowly adjust to practicing in a heated room, you will begin to find that your body responds well, and you will become quickly addicted. On hot summer days, when your body normally wants to stay indoors, you will probably be able to maintain normal activity levels outside and may even become able to perform at peak activity levels. This is because your heart works harder. The work done in the heat causes the arteries to dilate and thins the blood so more blood flows as the heart is challenged to get nutrients and oxygen to every cell in the body. The internal organs are also challenged. As your body gets used to practicing in a heated environment, your system learns what to do to keep itself from overheating.

Increased Flexibility
The heat also softens up muscle tissue, so it is able to stretch and open. Those who are less flexible will find this to be a huge advantage to practicing in a heated environment. This aspect of the heat needs to be handled with caution. While muscles, which might be tight, are more able to open, so are ligaments and tendons, which you do not want to overstretch. The amount of opening and deep stretching that can naturally occur as a result of a well-balanced Hot Yoga practice should not be pushed too far. In the long run, proceeding thoughtfully and with care, while using the heat to help you open your tight spots and trouble areas, will get you much farther than trying to blast through your restrictions as quickly as possible.
Temperature: 90-95 degrees
Trinity Power Vinyasa combines flowing movements synchronized with breath, transitioning between poses in a much more fluid fashion than Trinity Traditional Hatha. Sequences are ever changing and may feature arm balances.

Temperature: 100-105 degrees
Trinity Traditional Hatha is a set sequence of postures and breath exercises. Postures are held static to explore alignment and technique in greater depth. The set sequence makes this a great class to begin the yoga journey as well as a great place to reflect on progress for seasoned practitioners. The sequence is crafted to benefit every system of the body: especially lymphatic, endocrine, nervous, respiratory, digestive, musculoskeletal, and circulatory. TTH weaves in the opportunity to simultaneously clear the mind and rejuvenate the spirit.
Temperature: 90-95 degrees
Trinity Sculpt is a dynamic and high intensity class that combines yoga poses with strength training exercises using hand weights. While sessions may vary, they often focus on full-body workouts, with an emphasis on core strength and endurance.
Temperature: 80-85 degrees
Trinity Yin/Restorative is the slowest paced offering. Poses are passive and often held longer than TTH to focus on releasing the fascia and often supported with props. A great place to begin the yoga practice, especially if there is a history of injuries or if regular movement has not been part of routine. Also, a great place to balance out a more rigorous movement routine.
Temperature: 100-105 degrees
Trinity Hatha Fusion maintains the backbone of the TTH postures while introducing the fluid vinyasa element. We think this is a great next step after gaining an understanding of TTH before diving into power vinyasa.
